bp (DE38) has made the Final Investment Decision (FID) for its 100 megawatt (MW) Lingen Green Hydrogen (LGH2) project. It will be bp’s largest industrial green hydrogen plant and the first that the company will fully own and operate. The plant will be built next to the bp refinery in Lingen and could produce up to 11,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually, with the potential to supply industrial customers in the region as well as the bp refineries in Germany.
