John Cockerill Hydrogen starts large-scale production of electrolyzers at plants in Aspach (France) and Seraing (Belgium)
Production capacity is expected to reach 1 GW per year by the end of 2025.
John Cockerill Hydrogen (BE09 & FR12) has started large-scale production of electrolyzers at its plants in Aspach (France, cell production) and Seraing (Belgium, stack assembly) for leading European clients. This Franco-Belgian European Gigafactory is a two-site operation aimed at achieving a production capacity of up to 1 GW/year by the end of 2025, equivalent to 200 stacks of 5 MW each.
